Egypt and Russia have completed 99% of the contracts necessary for the implementation of the Al Dabaa nuclear power plant to move forward, according to Russia’s Ambassador to Egypt, Sergey Kirpichenko.

 

Kirpichenko expects work on the plant to start prior to the end of 2017.

Al Dabaa nuclear power plant would be built at Dabaa in the north of the country and is expected to be completed by 2022.
